Pairs with Main Character Energy
The two Healing Era candles lit side by side

Chapter one is the calm. Chapter two is remembering who you are. Most people end up with both. See Main Character Energy.

A letter from the jar

Saturday. Phone face down.

Something has shifted, and you have not announced it. Good. The best exits are quiet.

You used to be the one who explained. Now you are the one who doesn’t.

No long messages. No defending your tone. No rehearsing the argument in the shower for a conversation that is never going to happen. You have noticed how much room there is when you stop filling it with other people’s weather.

I am a candle. I will not do your healing for you. I am, however, excellent company while you do it.

Here is what I bring. Coffee, for the slow morning you finally allow yourself. Chocolate, because indulgence is not a character flaw. Then something nutty, vanilla, and a warm drop of Peru balsam underneath — the kind of warmth that asks for nothing back.

Drama used to be the loudest thing in the room. Now it is me, and I am not loud at all.

When I am finished, wash me out and keep me. Put your rings in me. Crowns need somewhere to rest.

The unbothered test

What are you done with?

Cross out everything you have put down. Nothing is sent anywhere — this is between you and the jar.

0 put down — Cross out what you’re done with.

Light the new era — £21.99
Peace Is The New Drama lit beside a coffee mug and pampas grass
Cosy. Indulgent. Grounding.

The scent

Warm, gourmand, completely unbothered.

Coffee and chocolate up front; a nutty, toasted heart; vanilla and Peru balsam holding the whole thing steady underneath. Calm is your power — this is what it smells like.

topCoffee · Chocolate

The first thirty seconds. A freshly poured cup and a square of dark chocolate — the slow morning, bottled.

heartCoffee · Chocolate · Nutty notes

Where it settles. Toasted hazelnut rounds the edges off — indulgent, never cloying.

baseNutty notes · Vanilla · Peru balsam

What is still there in the morning. Vanilla and balsamic warmth — the calm that stays after the drama has left the building.

Made to be given

Twelve reasons to send this one.

Most candles are bought for a birthday. This one gets bought for the week she stopped explaining herself.

01

Her healing era

She has not announced it, but you can tell. Mark it quietly, the way she is doing it.

02

She left the group chat

Ten seconds of courage after months of muted notifications. Worth a toast.

03

New keys, new flat

The first night in a place that is hers alone. Something to light before the boxes are unpacked.

04

A job she walked away from

The Sunday-night dread is over. The Sunday-night candle can begin.

05

Burnout recovery

For the friend learning that rest is not something you earn.

06

A boundary held

She said no and did not apologise for it. That deserves more acknowledgement than it usually gets.

07

A birthday

Especially the one where she asked for a quiet night in and meant it.

08

Secret Santa

Arrives boxed, under budget, and considerably more interesting than bath salts.

09

A thank-you

For the friend who is always the calm one when everyone else is not.

10

A digital detox

For the weekend she deletes the apps. Something to look at that isn’t a screen.

11

Coffee lover, obviously

The friend who has opinions about beans. This one smells like her favourite café, minus the queue.

12

Just because

No occasion at all. The most common reason people buy this one is for themselves.

And the one you buy for yourself. No occasion required.

Burn it right

Five minutes of care, forty hours of calm.

First burn

Two to four hours the first time, until the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass. This sets the memory and prevents tunnelling.

Trim the wick

Trim to 5 mm before every burn. Cleaner flame, less soot, no marked glass.

Four hours maximum

Never burn for more than four hours at a time. Let the candle cool completely before relighting.

Keep it clear

Remove trimmings and debris from the wax. Burn away from draughts, vents and open windows.

Know when to stop

Stop burning when about 10 mm of wax remains, then wash out the jar and keep it.

Warning

May cause an allergic skin reaction. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Full details on the jar.
