She just found out

Limited editionDrama Detox · Chapter two
Lavender & Rose
“Sweet on the outside, chaos on the inside. Are we talking about him, or about your past choices?”
Limited edition · Boxed, ready to give · Extracts from Amazon reviews
It arrives in its own black box — the kind you can hand over without apologising for the wrapping. Send it straight to her address; we will not put a price on the paperwork.

Chapter one names the person. Chapter two names the pattern. Most people end up with both. See Narcissist Recovery.
A letter from the jar
Sunday. Too quiet.
You knew. That is the part nobody says kindly enough, so I will say it first.
You knew by the third week. You just hoped you were wrong.
There was a flag, and then another one, and each one on its own was small enough to explain away. That is how the collection starts. Not with one enormous warning, but with a dozen small ones you were talked out of noticing.
I am not here to relitigate any of it. I am a candle. I have no timeline, no screenshots, and no theory about what he really meant.
Here is what I am. Lavender first, to slow your hands down. Then rose, muguet and jasmine — sweet, and I want you to notice how sweet, because you already know what sweetness can be used to cover. Underneath: musk, vanilla, sandalwood, tonka, cedarwood. The part that does not change when the room does.
Sweet on the outside, chaos on the inside. I am named after the thing, on purpose, so you never have to explain the joke.
Light me and the room changes. That is the entirety of my abilities, and I would rather be honest about it than have you find out later — you have had enough of that.
When I am gone, wash me out and keep me. Put your rings in me. Next time, believe yourself the first time.

The scent
A soft opening that turns out to have a spine. Lavender, spice and rose up front; rose, muguet and jasmine through the middle; musk, vanilla, sandalwood, tonka and cedarwood holding the whole thing steady underneath — which is rather the point.
The first thirty seconds. Lavender to slow the pulse, a flick of spice so it never becomes sentimental.
The sweet part. Rose, lily of the valley and jasmine in full bloom — the charm offensive, bottled, and this time you can see it coming.
What is still there in the morning. Musk, vanilla, sandalwood, tonka and cedarwood. Warm, woody, unbothered — the part that does not change when the room does.
Made to be given
Most candles are bought for a birthday. This one gets bought for the week she finally said it out loud.
01
The week the story stopped adding up. Send something warm before the advice starts arriving.
02
A decision made in ten seconds after eight months of deliberating. Worth marking.
03
For the friend who is dating again with her standards reinstalled and her notifications off.
04
She noticed the flag and left the same week. Nobody throws a party for that. You could.
05
The first night in a place that is hers alone. Something to light before the boxes are unpacked.
06
She said no and did not apologise for it. That deserves more acknowledgement than it usually gets.
07
Especially the first one after everything changed, and especially if she says not to make a fuss.
08
Arrives boxed, under budget, and considerably more interesting than bath salts.
09
For the friend who said it first, gently, and waited for you to get there yourself.
10
Wine, ex stories, and one candle that already knows how each of them ends.
11
The day “he’s just stressed” finally stopped working. Celebrate the clarity.
12
No occasion at all. The most common reason people buy this one is for themselves.
And the one you buy for yourself. No occasion required.

Burn it right
Two to four hours the first time, until the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass. This sets the memory and prevents tunnelling.
Trim to 5 mm before every burn. Cleaner flame, less soot, no marked glass.
Never burn for more than four hours at a time. Let the candle cool completely before relighting.
Remove trimmings and debris from the wax. Burn away from draughts, vents and open windows.
Stop burning when about 10 mm of wax remains, then wash out the jar and keep it.
May cause an allergic skin reaction. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Full details on the jar.
Never leave a burning candle unattended · Keep away from children and pets · Burn on a heat-resistant surface
